Daniel’s Testimony of Transformation

My name is MPOZEMENSHI Daniel. I am married to one wife, and we have four children together. I would like to share with you the story of our life, how we used to live, and how things have changed today.

In the past, life was very difficult for us. We lived in a poor house made of grass and sticks. Whenever it rained, we would get wet inside, and even the children’s school materials were soaked. The floor was always damp, and sleeping was uncomfortable because the house was not strong enough to keep us safe.

We used to eat only once a day, and sometimes we spent the whole day without food. We survived by cutting and carrying firewood for other people to earn a little money. Our children could not study well because we could not afford school materials. Often, they would stop attending school due to our poor living conditions.

We had no land to cultivate, and the small piece we had was not fertile. Some people would insult us and tell us to leave their area, but we had nowhere else to go. We owned no livestock, not even a goat, cow, or pig, because we had no means to buy them. Life was truly difficult.

However, after all these struggles, God remembered us. The ICJ Foundation came to our community. They began by teaching us the Word of God and asking about our living conditions. When we shared our challenges, they decided to help us. They bought land for us to cultivate and provided us with all the necessary materials to ensure a good harvest.

During the last farming season, I was able to harvest 400 kg of maize, 50 kg of beans, and 40 kg of soya. Now we have enough food, and our family eats well three meals a day. We have a beautiful and comfortable house, and when it rains, we no longer worry. We sleep peacefully in a safe home provided by the ICJ Foundation.

I also now have livestock  goats, and I am confident they will multiply in the coming days. My children are studying well; they attend school regularly because they have food and clothing.

We are extremely grateful to the ICJ Foundation for everything they have done for us the house, farmland, livestock, and many other forms of support. We are now living a joyful life.

May God bless ICJ Foundation and everyone who contributes to this great.
