Community Outreach Highlight

last week, the ICJ Foundation team visited the Ciya community to finalise the distribution of goats to children as part of our livestock training programme. The initiative aims to empower children with essential skills in caring for animals from an early age. Through proper care, the goats will multiply and eventually support the children in meeting their basic needs.
Your support allows us to demonstrate to the children that a single goat, when cared for well, can become a source of income for items such as clothes, shoes, and school essentials.
A Child’s Testimony
During the distribution, one of the children, Ndayikengurukiye Chadrack, shared his joy and appreciation:
“My name is Ndayikengurukiye Chadrack. I am very grateful to the organisation for giving me a goat. We had no goats at home, and I never expected to receive one. This goat will help me in many ways. I will look after it well so that when it multiplies, it can support me to buy clothes, shoes, and other essentials. I am extremely happy. May God continue to bless you. Thank you.”

His words reflect the joy felt across the entire community as children received their goats.
Programme Follow-Up
With the distribution now completed in the Ciya community, our team will continue monitoring the progress of the goats. We will be sharing updates on:
How the goats are multiplying
How the animals are improving the lives of the children
Success stories from families benefiting from the programme
Thank You for Your Support
As the ICJ Foundation, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all supporters. Your prayers and contributions make this life-changing work possible.
May God richly bless you for your kindness and generosity.
